Fun project transforming this space into a full restaurant and bar to host outdoor concerts. The project included turning a vacant commercial space into a bar with new glass doors opening up to the brand new backyard stage, patio, eating area, and outdoor bars. The roof line was raised to allow head room for a staircase up to Slacktide Coffee Roasters and a new staircase was added to access the vacant basement which was transformed into a full scale commercial kitchen capable of cooking for 200 music lovers. Additional basement storage space beneath Levitate Surf Shop was renovated to provide men's and women's restrooms and a new handicap access ramp was added to the front of the building.
Slacktide Coffee Roasters
Some photos from the Slack Tide Coffee Roasters build out. Limited space made it a tricky project but we were able to work with Slacktide to come up with a design to accommodate all the fridges, sinks, ice machines, coffee machines, espresso machines, and storage areas required to run a full scale coffee shop. We also added new windows to let in more light and a section of the wall was removed to allow the space to flow into Levitate Surf Shop.
